We have a new Ice Cream and Dessert menu which comes into effect this month ready for the summer season and we are looking at our new Summer Menu at the moment. We are always happy to receive your feedback and any suggestions for the menu would be gratefully received. This year we are going to try to cater for more diverse appetites as well as our usual favourites. We will try to cover some food for those with special dietary requests, such as gluten free, and of course we will offer our usual vegetarian options too.  Please let us know if you have any suggestions that might help us to do this and we will see what we can do depending on availability of ingredients here in France.

Don’t forget we also have our special Friday night menu – three courses with choices – there’s always a fish dish on the main menu as well as special desserts and starters. We also offer a “Plat du Jour” or daily special – Charolias Steak Hache with an egg on top (A “Chevalier”), Lamb Shanks or maybe something completely different depending on seasonal availability.  We have a new draft beer available too – Warsteiner – a premium German Pilsner lager from a small German family brewery – very tasty!

And finally, a great big THANK YOU to all those who helped out with our Student Day today, when students from a Lycee in La Roche sur Yon joined us for lunch and a good old chat to prepare for their Baccalaureate.

Look forward to seeing you in the Cafe soon,
Kind regards
